After a few teething problems with my glans wrap (blisters suffered!) I have been successfully hanging for about 5 weeks now, progressing slowly in weight (roughly 0.5lbs per week) . I had been using 5hg of pressure which worked perfectly, allowing my glans to almost completely pack the dome with no slippage occurring during my sets and importantly no glans irritation or blisters. Today I increased the weight to 7.5lbs and noticed a gap in the dome after only a few minutes of hanging. I stopped and set up again, this time using 7hg but experienced a gap appearing once more, along with a mild amount of glans irritation as this area is taking too much of the stress. My EQ is low but I would have thought that 7hg would be enough to keep my head sufficiently expanded. Should I try an even greater amount of vacuum force?
It seems odd because hanging 7lbs was perfectly ok, but 7.5lbs and I'm slipping out easily. Slightly concerned as this weight is still very low considering the sweet spot is apparently 10+lbs.
Do you have any advice you can give?
Sadly no gains to report yet, but fingers crossed they're on the horizon.
